Short description

Sofia is a contest grade discus launch FAI F3K model, the 'cutting edge' of DLG technology. Many new ideas have gone into the production and design, the result is a model of the highest quality finish and performance! The plane is made of very lightweight carbon/kevlar fuselage and composite balsa/glass epoxy wings. It is perfect practice airplane for experienced pilots. Light and strong wing with well chosen airfoil is also competitive on F3K competitions.
Operation: 3 or 4 channels
Flying: Thermal flying, F3-K competition.


Detailed product information:

Fuselage is made of carbon, wing is very lightweight yet strong composite mixture of balsa core covered with lightweight glassfibres and epoxy. Tail surfaces are made of light molded composite with carbon reinforcement.

Model is suitable for advanced modelers and competitors.
